Buying another computer...

It’s only $50, but the CPU still commands $150-200 on the used market. I could use the chip but I have faster ones, and they consume a lot less power than this one. The system I could put it in is already a space heater and out of date, so I’ll just grab this  for parts and sell the rest. I can probably get a slower, more efficient CPU and put it to use, and it will essentially be free.

I'm running a Core i7 920.  Not sure how it does compared to any modern offerings.
